Terms of Use
These terms apply to the use of the ComplyNex platform (complynex.online and its sub-domains), owned and operated by Mohamed Emam, Cairo, Egypt. Where a client has a signed agreement with ComplyNex, that agreement prevails over these terms.
1. The service
ComplyNex provides software for governance, risk and compliance work, including screening, customer due diligence, monitoring, case management, governance and reporting tools. The platform supports the client's compliance function; decisions taken with it, and the client's compliance with the laws and regulations that apply to it, remain the client's responsibility.
2. Accounts
Accounts are personal. Users must keep their password and two-factor device confidential, and the client must remove access for people who leave. Activity carried out under an account is recorded in the platform's audit trail.
3. Acceptable use
- Use the platform only for lawful purposes and within the client's own business.
- Do not attempt to access data of other clients, test the platform's security without written permission, or disrupt its operation.
- Do not upload content you have no right to process.
4. Client data
Data entered by a client belongs to that client. ComplyNex processes it only to provide the service, keeps it confidential, and handles it as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Intellectual property
The platform, its software, content and trademarks are the property of ComplyNex and its owner. Clients receive a right to use the platform during their subscription; copying, reverse engineering or redistributing the software is not permitted.
6. Availability
We work to keep the platform available and secure and take regular backups. Service levels, support hours and any availability commitments are those set out in the client's agreement.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, ComplyNex is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions a client takes based on the platform's results. Any other liability is limited as set out in the client's agreement.
8. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended in case of misuse or a security risk. When a subscription ends, client data is returned or deleted as agreed with the client.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction.
